Richard Cazzell, CLU, ChFC

Richard entered the life insurance business directly from college in 1974.  He began group medical and worksite marketing in 1976 which ultimately led to his founding an employee benefits firm, RJC Planning Group in 1994.  Richard merged his firm with Legacy Capital Group in September, 2014, and now serves as a Senior Employee Benefits Consultant.

With both core and voluntary benefits, Richard brings tremendous talent and experience in benefit communications, enrollment, and administration.  He is exceptionally skilled in transitioning qualified employer groups from fully insured to self-insured medical plans.

Richard graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1974 with a BSBA in accounting.  His professional designations include Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant.  He holds licenses in life, accident and health, property, casualty, legal, and travel insurance.
Outside the office Richard enjoys travelling, scuba diving, elk hunting; but most importantly taking one or more of his grandkids to the donut shop.  He is a teacher in his church and is very involved with mission projects in both Latin America and East Africa.
Richard and his wife Kathy live in Fort Smith, have raised five children, and now enjoy their adventures with 12 grandchildren.
